This is what the owners of Brooklyn Pizza wanted, to share the meaning of the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival and spread the joys of the Mooncake Dice Game as part of the Chinese culture, in a fun Filipino setting. While the former was filled with Chinese participants, the one at Brooklyn Pizza was a first for most of our Filipino blogger friends in the game.

The second and most recent one was at Brooklyn’s New York Pizza with some blogger friends. Our first “ Pua TIong Chiu” happened last week which was held at Kamuning Bakery Cafe with the Binondo Heritage Group. In China, it is a two-day holiday for the Chinese people to go to their hometowns get together with their family and friends for thanksgiving.
